Albuquerque's Cupcakeology opens

Cupcakeology just opened in Albuquerque, and they're also on Flickr. Below is their sign and some cupcake photos; hopefully they'll have more up now that their bakery's actually open. Here's what commenters at Duke City Fix has to say.

While the cupcake I had from Cupcakeology was delicious, it was kind of hard to eat it knowing I spent over $2 for the little piece of heaven. Unless the prices go down for an individual cupcake, I'm sticking with Cake Fetish.

i love Cupcakeology! i went there for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back a few times since. Their cake is so moist and you can tell the frosting is fresh! WAY better than Cake Fetish. i dont know what that lady above me is talking about! Cake fetish cake tastes ANCIENT! i would way rather pay the extra buck for something good. then sacrafice, Quality for Quanity.. ♥

I recently had Cupcakeology and I have to say that I just wasn't that impressed. It had almost no flavor. I have to say that my favorite cupcakes in Albuquerque are at Just A Bite. They're affordable and taste amazing. I feel like at that place I don't have to sacrifice quality OR quanity.
i just went to both cake fetish and cupcakeology and have to say the cupcakeology far far far exceeds cake fetish. the cake was moist unlike the cake fetish dry and seemingly day old.

go cupcakeology!

Yeah, I work at cake fetish and I have one question for those of you that say our cake is dry... Did you eat it while it was cold? All of our cake has to be refridgerated until about 20 minutes before you eat it because our icing is butter based. If you eat them cold, the cake texture is dryer. If you let them warm up they have a much, much better texture.
