From blogger Destiny's Kitchen (via Flickr) comes this adorable purple flower cupcake, and it's vegan too!
While the cupcakes & cake were baking, I made the flowers, each on their own separate parchment square. These then went into the freezer to harden. Usually I like to make flowers in advance & let them dry, but I procrastinated too much here.
After the cakey items were cool, I piped some Chick-o-Frosting on the cupcakes, then stuck a frozen flower (quickly!) onto the tops of each.
