In the past weeks, perhaps months, I have so many clients ordering mini cupcakes. Not that I don't like them, but I feel like this is all I've been doing... I find that they are harder to decorate, not to mention that they are half the price! Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Is it as a result of the bad economy?
I'm not sure, but we do know that at least two cupcakeries sell only mini cupcakes: Mini's Cupcakes and Kumquat Cupcakery.
Because it's National Cupcake Day, and we are suckers for mini cupcakes (I think they are often the perfect size!), here's some photos of ones we love:
