Diamond cupcake

Thanks to our reader Jessica for letting us know about this diamond cupcake made by Mervis Diamonds, who gave out cupcakes from Maryland's Classic Bakery at their recent trunk show.

They call it "a $30,000 cupcake covered in diamonds."

WHOA! now that's something to look at. I'm always amazed at they creativity involving food nowadays, expecially cakes and cupcakes.

Sugar!? These are real diamonds, I can attest. I work at Mervis Diamond Importers in Washington DCand we made two diamond cupcakes with a total of $60,000 of diamonds. We had a special wedding ring trunk show so I thought it would be fun to combine wedding rings, diamonds, and cupcakes!
