The cupcakes below are both from the blog Keckie's World, made for the latest Iron Cupcake Earth baking competition, which has a music theme (go there for more information). The last day to post is this Saturday. Also, we sometimes post cupcakes from blogs that are participating because they look fun/cool/interesting/etc. but we don't endorse any particular cupcakes for any Iron Cupcake competitions; from October 30th through November 5th you'll be able to vote for your favorites!

Iron Cupcake Earth is back and this month the group is trying to get featured on the Ellen show. So to help our case, we're making music-inspired cupcakes. The cuppies this month need to be based on the title of a song. For my first entry, I made "high hat cupcakes" although they did not turn out too high... which was okay by me because they ended up looking like Hostess cupcakes;) The song title for these babies? "You Can Leave Your Hat On."
