But today I made some cute mini cupcakes, and I figured they would be perfect little snacks to take out a few at a time, but wasn't sure if I should frost them now or not before freezing. Thanks for the tips!Ohohohohohohohoho.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9610539.post-10580405149817691962010-07-15T04:07:37.000-04:002010-07-15T04:07:37.000-04:00I would like to ask what kind of cases you used, b...I would like to ask what kind of cases you used, because although cupcakes freeze succeessfully, I have found paper case melt of the cake sometimes?Elaine Toozenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9610539.post-63372806596630230512010-04-13T23:23:59.000-04:002010-04-13T23:23:59.000-04:00Thank you so much for posting this, and for being ...Thank you so much for posting this, and for being thorough in your research! I made a large batch tonight and realized I won't be able to pawn them off on people until this weekend. Thank goodness they won't go stale in the meantime! I'll wrap them up, pop them in the freezer, take them out, promptly unwrap, thaw, and frost. Easy peasy - and what a neat trick for company! I'll try to keep some in the freezer from now on!Rosie Posienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9610539.post-46457530930835268842010-01-03T15:07:33.972-05:002010-01-03T15:07:33.972-05:00My grandmother used to freeze her cupcakes all the...My grandmother used to freeze her cupcakes all the time for when we'd come and visit. She'd just pull them out of the freezer a little ahead of time to defrost them.

All she did was frost them, wait until the frosting stiffened a little and then put the in a big ice cream bucket. They tasted fine after being frozen but the texture seemed more dense. They were never frost bitten though as the article suggests will happen unless "properly" wrapped in plastic and then foil.Confessions of a Vancity Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07349184527437307894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9610539.post-75947024175158105092009-07-29T19:49:26.437-04:002009-07-29T19:49:26.437-04:00But....what if I've already frosted them?
