I've also been seeing cupcakes pop up in numerous same sex marriage stories, like this one in the San Franciso Bay Guardian blog:

In fact, this Contra Costa Times story led me to discover a new bakery:

Little Lover's Fine Cupcakes which does custom cupcakes and delivery within a 30 mile radius of Livermore, California

The Little Lovers Cupcakes are INCREDIBLE - I cannot imagine what they must have to charge to do such detailed work on DOZENS of cupcakes!!

I have had Little Lovers Cupcakes and I have to say they are the beat I have ever tasted! Not only do they look fantastic, they taste great. This guy really is an artist. I know that my friend didn't pay to much for her cupcakes, I think they were around $4.00 each - that is nothing compaired to others in the Bay Area that are not even this fancy.
