What a fun idea...I found Scootabaker, run by Heather Wong, via her chocolate truffle Twitpic, seen below. She delivers desserts around the Los Angeles area, yes, via scooter. She also has a beautiful blog and a Facebook page. Other photos via Facebook. Hopefully we can taste them soon (Nichelle will be in LA to judge the 2010 Cupcake Challenge in February and I'll be in town in April) and give you a first-person report.

More info: 48 hours notice needed for orders, deliveries are made daily from 10 am to 7 pm, rates start at $10 (and vary based upon location from 90028) and there's a $30 minimum delivery order.
Her cupcake menu offers "old school flavors" and "new school flavors." Though I do love a good vanilla or coconut (her name: "coconut bikini") cupcake I like to think of myself as new school so I'm reposting her new school flavors below:
