I stopped by the Hester Street Fair today to visit Kumquat Cupcakery, one of our favorites, who is also selling this weekend at the Brooklyn Flea. Her mini cupcakes are $1 each and she had 5 flavors on offer. The orange strawberry poppyseed cupcakes, which were delicious and not too overpowering (I'm not a huge orange fan), a dark chocolate mini cupcake that was wonderful, as well as chocolate peanut butter, lemon lavender and red velvet.
