Strawberry cupcakes are one of my favorites in the summer, so when I saw this post from Kara's Party Ideas, I had to share with you all. Here's the recipe for the cupcakes but click though to get the instructions and the frosting recipe.
Yields 12 cupcakes
Ingredients:
2 tbsp strawberry jam or preserves (preferably seedless for frosting)
1/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup of sugar
3 egg whites
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
4 drops pink food coloring
1/3 cup milk
