Grand Central Bakery sounds like it belongs in our home city of New York, but actually has stores in Seattle and Portland. It was named "one of the five great cupcakes shops in the Northwest" by Sunset magazine, and on August 12th will be park of Pike Place Market's dinner under teh stars. They're also out every Saturday at Beaverton Farmer's Market. Hopefully one of our West Coast contacts (hint, hint) will send us a written and visual report soon, or else we'll just have to visit ourselves!
