New bakery in NYC: Tribeca Treats

From today's New York Times:

You can’t open a bakery in New York without cupcakes these days, so Rachel Thebault, a former investment banker who has opened Tribeca Treats, offers small ones ($2 each) aswirl with chocolate, vanilla, coconut, espresso, peanut butter, caramel or marshmallow frostings. There is even a red velvet one with cream cheese icing. Her sandwich cookies are also modest in size and come in chocolate, vanilla, peanut and graham cracker with various cream fillings, $1.25 each or $18 a dozen. Chocolates and cakes round out the inventory. The shop also sells gift items. It’s at 94 Reade Street (Church Street), (212) 571-0500.
