I got the idea for these from your blog (probably a post a couple years ago), and made them for my 3yo’s monkey birthday. I substituted Mini Golden Oreos for the ears instead of Nutter Butters, since I was sending them to a nut-free class.

I got mini golden oreos at my local grocery store -- they come in a recloseable zipper pouch instead of a tray like full-size oreos, but they're in the cookie aisle. No idea how widespread they are.
