The real question to me is: Would you eat this cupcake? Well, I would, but my ideal ratio is more like 20-25% frosting, 75-80% cake. How much frosting do you prefer? I know plenty of people who'd say 100%! (For them, there is the frosting shot.)

I generally think the more frosting the better, especially with carrot cake - to me, it's cream cheese frosting...and whatever's under it.
Cupcake - I piped a good-sized mound of frosting on that cupcake and then spiraled up around it. By the time I was done we needed three forks to eat it all.
I know it's a crime, but I scrape the frosting off of most cupcakes and just have that tinsy bit of frosting left on the cake. My hubby gets the bonus frosting, so it works out well for us :)
