As some of you know, our own Allison Bojarski works as a personal trainer for CrossFitNYC. Many of you (and some of us!) are both cupcake lovers and conscious about our weight, so it wasn't a surprise to see that
Vanilla Bean Organic Baked Goods baked these lovely cupcakes seen below for the grand opening of CrossFit Birmingham.

And check out this Cupcake of the Month from Crossfit Watertown:

As for me, I used to eat cupcakes maybe twice a month, and now I'm eating them, oh, 3-4 times a week! (For research purposes, of course, plus birthday, plus...oh, just because I pass by them in a shop.) My strategy lately is to taste each cupcake and then move on, ideally sharing them with friends, or eating mini cupcakes. What about you? If you're watching your weight but also love cupcakes, what do you do to make room for more cupcakes?

For a while I tried to bake so I had no leftovers in the house, but nowadays my husband and I look forward to having a cupcake now and then. I have taken up jogging again after a 3 year hiatus. I hope that will help balance out the increased sugar intake. We're also trying to eat vegetarian more often.
