The blog Baking Bites is having a holiday cupcake contest. Here's what they say:
The contest is a simple one, inspired by the way last year’s gingerbread-themed contest ran. All you have to do is submit your favorite photos of holiday-themed cupcakes to the Baking Bites Holiday Cupcake Contest Flickr Pool (accounts are free, though you do have to sign up). Ideally, the cupcakes will be homemade and you’ll be able to share a recipe along with your photo, or include a link back to your blog’s page and the recipe. But if they’re not, that’s ok, too. Any holiday-themed cupcake is eligible, whether they’re homemade, made by a friend, seen at a coffee shop or from a favorite cupcake bakery. Aim for reds, greens and blues in terms of color, or sprinkles, santas and snowflakes for decoration. Good photos of tasty cupcakes are what we’re looking for here.
There will be three winners, one Grand Prize winner and two runners up. All three will get a gift basket from Hershey’s (thanks, Hershey’s!) of baking stuff, including everything you need to do a little baking - from cocoa powder and flour to spatulas and chocolate Kisses. The Grand Prize winner will also get a copy of Emily Luchetti’s award-winning book, A Passion for Ice Cream, as well as a little extra surprise gift from me.
Here's one entry, a chocolate mint Christmas cupcake, from Sweet Lorraine Bakeshop:

I also discovered via Baking Bites these holiday cupcake liners from Martha Stewart, available at Michaels:
