Where to get cupcakes in St. Louis?

So, I'm spending today through Sunday in St. Louis.

I know about Jilly's Cupcake Bar (grrr...the email address on their site didn't work!) and the newly opened Sweet Art but if anyone has any other suggestions (doesn't have to be a cupcakery per se), please post in the comments or email cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com - I'm only here 4 days but intend to sample as many cupcakes as I can!

They're not cupcakes, but you MUST visit Dad's Cookies. http://www.dadscookies.com

If not, you may want to give them a call - they've been in StL forever.

Also, if time permits, visit Forest Park and/or Grant's Farm!

You need to go to Veruca and The Cupcakery.

The Cupcakery : http://www.cravethecup.com/

Veruca : They don’t have their own website. http://www.kmov.com/recipes/saucesegments/stories/kmov_sauce_080124_veruca.5631f82e.html

Definitely check out Sweet Art as well.

You could also try a St. Louis favorite - gooey butter cake. Nearly every bakery makes one, but there is also an all gooey butter bakery called Gooey Louie. It is on Chippewa, right down the street from Ted Drewes Frozen Custard (another StL fave!)

I second the Cupcakery! I've tried all the cupcake places here in St. Louis but they are by far my favorite!

I love the Cupcakery but you also must try Pastries of Denmark on Olive in the west county - they are to die for!

There is a cupcake place in the Central West End, behind the Chase Park Plaza. I was there about 1 year ago and they were the best cupcakes in St. Louis, hands down.

Couldn't find the place in the Delmar Loop...but I hear there is a new cupcake shop opening in the Delmar Loop.

St. Louis is my home town and I wish I could open a shop there..but currrently I live in good old hot Las Vegas...where the cupcakes suck. (Except for my own;)
