Are you ready for a 1,000-pound SpongeBob cupcake?

An interesting tidbit from Media in Canada on Studio Licensing president Robert Miller and SpongeBob mania to celebrate SpongeBob's 10th anniversary:

But that's not all. Miller is also looking to create the world's largest cupcake to create a new Guinness World Record, which will probably weigh in around a thousand pounds. But you won't see a massive SpongeBob-shaped cupcake, since it has to be the shape of a traditional cupcake in order to qualify for record-breaking status, so Miller says it'll probably be yellow and bear the Sponge's wide-eyed face.

This is impossible. Any good fan of Ace of Cakes will remember when they tried to break the world record with only a 61.4 pound cupcake and their record was rescinded for being constructed in multiple parts. There is no way to make a 1,000 cupcake all in one piece. Or am I missing something?

Whoa. That is...a really big SpongeBob. I can't think of the proper "Spongecake" joke, but I know there's got to be one. :-)
