Bakerella's cupcake pops for charity

Beloved baking blogger Bakerella is at it again, making more of her famous, scrumptious-looking (and, I'm sure, tasting, I just haven't had the pleasure of trying them, unfortunately for me) cupcake pops, this time to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Bakerella writes:

Each year, American Cancer Society Relay for Life events take place in communities all over the country. It allows people to participate in the fight against cancer and brings communities together to do so. Basically teams are formed and raise money in fun ways to fight cancer. Then, on the day of the Relay, you and your team take turns walking around a designated track for 24 hours. (I've done it. It's fun.) People raise money for their team in lots of ways. Car washes, raffles, yard sales, and of course bake sales. Ding. ding. ding… that's where these little guys come in to play.

I do the relay for life each year. Two years ago as a fundraiser, we held a car smash. A dollar for 3 whacks with a sledge hammer. It was so fun. I'm in the process of trying to get a bake sale going for this year.

absolutely fantastic thing to do, I have taken part in relay for life myself and have since done it every single year, such an emotional and rewarding experience!
