For our new contest, you can win a set of the cupcake liners shown above from King Arthur Flour. They retail for $12.95 and here's some more information about them:

* Stiff paper in an intricate, laser-cut butterfly design.

I like to blend the perfect colors--- like Tiffany blue or a wedding color.. and add flair, such as a gem stone or covered in sparkling sprinkles.

My favorite way to decorate a cupcake is to swirl the brightly colored frosting up in as high of a pile as I can get!

I love the look of fancy cupcakes, but when I'm eating them I prefer having only the texture of icing and cake. So I'm going to have to say, just a moderate amount of frosting!

These are some really cool cupcake papers!

It really depends on the occasion. Sometimes I just use a knife and load them up with frosting and other times I will break out my tips and decorate them fancy.

Carve a cone-shaped piece from a chocolate cupcake, fill the hole with pudding and frost with light-colored frosting. Cut the cone-shaped cupcake piece in half lengthwise, open flat and place atop cupcake so that it looks like butterfly wings. Drawing antennae with icing and voila!

Putting out frosting, sprinkles, sugar crystals and candy and letting guests decorate their own cupcakes is so much fun. You get to see so many unique and creative cupcake tops, and saves me a little work.
My favorite way of decorating a cupcake is using an icing bag to swirl the butter cream frosting. This makes them pretty, neat and uniform. I add colored sprinkles to match my theme!

My favorite way to decorate a cupcake is to use two complementary colors in the bag and using a large star tip to swirl the frosting on top. Then sprinkle with just a little decorator sugar and put a rose bud right on top!

I love these cut out cupcake wraps...I'm using them this summer to decorate my sisters wedding cupcakes!

I love to dollop a generous amount of icing, tinted in soft shades (especially lavendar or baby blue) and then add either hand grated chocolate shavings or sprinkles, fruit or anything that might spice up the sweet topping.

I love to whip up a frothy sea of swiss meringue and float a teddy graham in it with a miniature floatie of grahman cracker crunch. I top it off with a drizzle of chocolate ganache. The creation is called "S'more Teddies Overboard"

Any cupcake goes from good to GREAT with a drizzle of melted chocolate. The little crunch as the chocolate drizzle breaks is the perfect starter for the creamy, soft layers of cupcake.
