I've been eating up a storm of New York City cupcakes (not sure if that analogy works) but will post them when I can. Here are three from BabyCakes NYC I sampled. The one in the upper left, mint frosting with brownie cake, is one of my favorites. The mocha was good too but very mocha-y, same for the lemon. Since I don't have to abstain from gluten, I don't necessarily consider BabyCakes my goto stop, but the brownie one is still a favorite, but at $11 for three, they are best shared. They're very thick and chewy, not light like I prefer, but I don't think it's fair to expect gluten-free cupcakes to taste like non-gluten-free.
