I have ALWAYS loved Halloween... I don't know if it's the combination of the weather changing (which isn't much in South Florida just means going from HOT to a little less hot... lol) But I have to say I love all the Colors (the purples, oranges, black, etc), Decor and Treats associated with Halloween. I am currently deciding on what I will conjur up this year in honor of this Wicked Holiday, and I have a feeling those Cupcake liners will help me out a lot ;)

My favorite thing about Halloween is that everyone seems to become a kid again for 24 hours, to varying degrees. We all dress up, eat too much candy, take silly pictures, etc, regardless of age. More days should be like that!

Halloween is my favorite holiday! If my husband would let me, I would start decorating early in September.

The bottom of this post shows some of my decorations from last year.

My favorite aspect of Halloween is dressing up the kiddies and painting their faces, pilfering through all their candy when they get home and using the "good" candy to decorate my amazing King Arthur baked goods with!

Thanks for the opportunity to win those awesome cupcake liners! How unique!

I love the spider cupcake wrappers! My favorite aspect of Halloween would have to be seeing all the creative costumes the kids are wearing when they come to our house for candy - one last year had a scary mask that literally had "blood" dripping down all over it. I don't know what made the "blood" continually drip down the mask, but it was pretty awesome!

But this year, since I've really gotten into baking, I'm looking forward to making some really fun treats!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I love everything about Halloween! As a kid I especially loved dressing up in my halloween costumes and I continued that tradition with my own children. And, the candy was great too! Although, I never really got around to eating it all. When my children started trick-or-treating, I was proud of the fact that my house was the only house in the neighborhood that gave away the "big" candy bars!! Too bad in this day and age you can't give away cupcakes!! I can be reached at twitter.com/abc1957 or at abclonts@bellsouth.net

My favorite aspect of Halloween (possibly my favorite holiday) is the spooky atmosphere. Done right, there's a sense of the macabre and something faintly sinister lurking behind the ordinary, without being outright gory or scary. It is a playtime for one's slightly darker imagination.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love the excitement in children, but I love that adults are usually less stressed about the holiday as well. It is a playful time, and I thoroughly enjoy watching a grown man dress up as the Tooth Fairy or a woman dress like a duck. It reminds us that life isn't all serious. Don't forget to have fun along the way.

I live in an international grad student neighborhood at the University of Notre Dame. We explore many of the American fall traditions during our Halloween Harvest party. We carve pumpkins and share the history behind this custom. We trick-or-treat throughout our neighborhood, a first time experience for many families. We have a horse-drawn hayride and a costume contest, and we sit on bales of straw around a fire and sing fun songs long into the night with accompaniment from local musicians. It's a great time for young families from all over the world to celebrate a fun holiday safely!

My favorite aspect of Halloween is being able to hand out candy and make goodies for friends (I guess that's two favorite things!). Hopefully next year, we'll be in an actual house!

my favorite part of halloween is trying to figure out what different, fun things I can make for halloween for my friends. we don't have any children, but we like to have our college friends over to celebrate. this year may end up being pumpkin shaped mini cheesecakes (courtesy of a pan purchased at none other than KAF - and yes, I know gratuitous advertising won't get me more entries). I love the flavors of pumpkin, and of fall, and halloween is really the first, and best, opportunity to bring out some fun dishes.

We get to decorate our houses using the good ol' creative brainstorming and turn our houses into ghost-towns! Halloween Cupcakes. Sppoky cupcakes, witch cupcake, bat cupcakes, A Ghost, A witch, Vampire, or Frankenstein, the spookiest cupcakes are the most fun and are the most popular at your Mojnster Mash. My childhood imagery, is ringing a doorbell sporting a pillowcase weaing a homemade costume. The best goodies were the homemade cupcake. Old fashioned trick or treating is becoming a thing of the past, but cupcakes are still the best, and here forever.
The witch of Halloween says: I cast a spell on you. Break it by eating a dozen cupcakes.(LOl)- Too many cupcakes on my brain. BOOOOOO! Happy Halloween.

Since I qualified as a nurse and began my current job, my favourite thing about Hallowe'en is how excited the kids I work with get when we make them a Hallowe'en party for when they come home from school. I work in a respite unit for kids with complex health needs and intellectual impairments, and they are the most awesome! More excited about Hallowe'en and parties then you could ever have thought possible! I am working the night shift before the party so I get to bake all the cakes, and bake all the cookies for the kids to decorate when they get home! I can't wait!
