Tonight is the second Austin, Texas cupcake meetup (photos above from the first one), run by our pal Jackie Nadel of hamburger cupcake fame. Also, Nichelle and I will be back in Austin in March for SXSW and will be reprising our Cupcake Social 2.0, which was a huge hit and tons of fun last year, so stay tuned! (I'll be posting about all of our upcoming travels so local bakeries and readers can connect with us.)

For our November meetup, the Austin Cupcake Meetup will have a happy hour eating madCakes cupcakes and drinking at Rio Rita. madCakes owners Rebecca and AnneMarie will be joining us. The event is $5 per person for the cupcakes, and we'll have the following flavors to choose from: double chocolate chip, white chocolate, red velvet, “Longhorn” orange, and pumpkin spice.
