This cute little gift waiting for me on the kitchen table was the only clue that my jet-lagged suitemate had returned from her trip. Apparently she had a layover in San Francisco, which led to a fated shopping trip to the store Crown and Crumpet. It was there that she picked up this pocket-sized Cupcake Soap for me, and a Cupcake Pattern Mug for herself.
While fresh cupcakes are great as immediate indulgences, there's a different sense of pleasure that comes from a nonperishable cupcake-themed item that you can keep. I think the soap will make a lovely, subtle addition to the kitchen decor, right next to my Pink Single Cupcake Carrier, and the amusing Cupcake Salt & Pepper Shaker that everyone inevitably spills.
