Flickr tip #2: Put your name in your URL/make yourself easy to find

This Flickr tip is very easy, I promise. Flickr allows you to customize your URL, so, for instance, I am http://www.flickr.com/photos/rkbcupcakes. A lot of times bakeries email us and say "we're on Flickr as ___" but the search function isn't like Facebook, and I can't find them. Also, there's just no way someone's going to remember a URL like http://www.flickr.com/photos/193939392746583838 (exaggerated to make the point, but still).

Make it easy for everyone, and promote your brand and bakery name (or blog name, or whatever) by simply customizing your URL.
