Lemon drop cupcake reminds me of an egg yolk

This lemon drop cupcake is by Boulder, Colorado bakery Tee & Cakes, who write on their blog that it's "lemon cake topped with vanilla buttercream, sprinkles and lemon curd." My first thought was that the lemon looks like an egg - a delicious egg, but an egg nonetheless.
