Seattle blog Queen Anne View tipped us off that Wink Cupcakes, which had previously been a custom cupcake company, is opening their storefront cupcakery today at 8 am. They've got a sneak peek. Apparently they have a "Please refrain from licking the glass" sign in their window! It's unclear to me if they will still do custom cupcakes and delivery, but I'm sure we'll be hearing more about them.

They've got lots of cake and frosting flavors to choose from, including strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream, lemon cake with coconut cream cheese frosting, chocolate cake with bittersweet Italian meringue buttercream frosting, peanut butter cake with peanut butter frosting (I want this!), champagne cake with lemon buttercream frosting and Guinness cupcakes with "frothy frosting" (not sure what that means but I'm intrigued!).
