"Worm" and "turtle" cupcakes, plus <i>Cupcake Wars</i> audition represents for the Midwest: PJ's Baby Cakes, Lincoln, NEbraska

Seemingly every cupcake bakery in the United States is touting their involvement with The Food Network's show Cupcake Wars, whether appearances on this season or auditions for next season. Therefore we can't post all of them lest this turn into Cupcake Wars Take the Cake, but we will post the occasional piece that's of interest about it. (Remember the days when cupcake news was so slow we could pretty much blog all of it? Well, those days are long over with the cupcake TV explosion as well as cupcake bakeries opening almost every week.)

They sell a cupcake called worms and dirt! "Chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream rolled in cookie crumbs and topped with a gummy worm." Love it! See all their flavors here.
