Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending Betty Crocker's "Christmas in July". The event was held in a beautiful loft in Midtown, Gary's Loft. The "Christmas in July" event was a press preview of new holiday products which included a Snickerdoodle cookie mix and a chocolate deluxe cake mix which would be good for baking cupcakes. Betty Crocker has launched a new social good initiative on Facebook, Bake The Change. Bake The Change encourages people to submit creative ideas that will help their community. Ideas are voted on and each month a winner will be announced. They will receive $1,000 toward their idea. The video is great. Watch it and submit your idea to "bake the change".
