Cupcake truck Jimmies Cupcake Company in North Wales, Pennsylvania

The Reporter News clued us in to yet another cupcake truck, Jimmies Cupcake Company in North Wales, Pennsylvania, which names their cupcake flavors after celebrities. Also interesting to note: the van took five months to decorate! See our cupcake truck section on the right-hand side (scroll down) to find a cupcake truck near you, and if your favorite one isn't on our list, send us their URL and Twitter handle at cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com and we'll add them.

That menu, posted on the rear right side of her mobile bakery, lists a few of the 16 different flavors of cupcakes that Jimmies makes and sells throughout Montgomery County, at events including farmers markets in Lansdale, North Wales and Warrington as well as at Lansdale's First Fridays.

In keeping with the company's name (based on the "jimmies" or sprinkles that adorn most of her cupcakes, Wente said), each flavor is named after a famous

Jimmy, James or Jim.

Examples include the vanilla and chocolate flavored James Madison, the banana flavored Jim Carrey, a tiramisu style James Cagney, and a chocolate on chocolate James T. Kirk.

"Some of the names fit with the ingredients, like the Jimmy Carter was obvious because it includes peanut butter, and the James Taylor has Boston cream because he's from Boston, but some of the other ones I just can't connect. I've tried, but they're just not there," she said.

She added that she's always looking for more names, and said customers have been sharing family recipes that could also lead to new flavors.
