I dropped by the exceedingly crowded and kinda freezing (summer is soo over) Grub Street/New York magazine/Hester Street Fair today looking for sweets. They had a ton of treats! Fried apple pies, waffles with chocolate and fruit, chocolates, macarons, brownies, blondies, ice cream sammiches, but no cupcakes. That was kinda disappointing.
Packed.

I was just about to give up when I found...not cupcakes but pupcakes! Day saved by Naya & Mila's Homemade Organic Dog Treats.
So not a totally cupcake-free day. I wish I had a doggie to feed.
Also, many many congrats to Rachel, who is participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer -- 39 miles over the weekend (!!), and who has actually stopped to blog about cupcakes during the walk. That's some serious dedication.
