S'mores cupcake closeup, orange buttercream cupcakes, branded sprinkles and coffee and flavor update from Magnolia Bakery

I'm heading out to do the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer again today (13 miles today, I made it 21 of the 26 miles yesterday) and will be passing by the famous Magnolia Bakery again. Interestingly, our route yesterday took us by 2 Magnolia Bakery locations (Upper West Side and Bleecker Street), Burgers and Cupcakes, Billy's Bakery, and the CupcakeStop truck!

I wore my "Top 10 Reasons to Eat a Cupcake" hoodie from Sugar Sweet Sunshine which got a lot of people reading and laughing.

I couldn't resist sharing a closeup of the s'mores cupcake, which I nibbled along the walk. The frosting is amazing, light and marshmallowy and not too sweet, complemented by the chocolate and honey graham cake that is a bit denser than their other ones, and I've raved about it before, but it's seriously worth checking out.

They've also finally, finally made their website fully functional. So here's their description of their orange cupcakes, picture below snapped by me yesterday:

Orange cake and cupcakes with an orange cream center and orange meringue buttercream icing. We are excited to offer our delicious new orange cake and cupcake. Delicately textured orange cake filled with an orange cream center and topped with orange meringue buttercream icing.

I don't know if this applies to all Magnolia Bakery locations, but the Upper West Side one had this cupcake flavor calendar posted:

I also noted them selling Magnolia Bakery branded sprinkles and fair trade organic coffee and cupcake aprons.

Those looking to order their I Cupcake NY t-shirt and other merchandise can also now do so from their site.
