Very cute ghost cupcakes, RIP graveyard cupcakes and more Halloween fun from Teaneck, New Jersey's Zoe's Cupcake Cafe

Zoe's Cupcake Cafe in Teaneck, New Jersey is special to me because it's located 2 blocks from where I grew up and lived from about age 2 until high school graduation (and intermittently during college). A lot has changed in my hometown since then, though a few stores are still the same as when I was living there. So not only is Zoe's Cupcake Cafe close to my heart because of that, but they also got started in order to fund a shelter for women. See the bottom of this post for the official story and how you can learn more and donate. From Facebook: "100% of our net proceeds goes to Zoe's Place to provide a safe home, support services and job opportunities for local pregnant teens, teen moms & their babies." You can also follow them @ZoesCupcakeCafe on Twitter.

But now, moving on to what you really want to see...ghosts and graveyard cupcakes! These are all from this Facebook album of cupcake cuteness by Zoe's Cupcake Cafe.

From the Zoe's Cupcake Cafe website:

Zoe's Place, our non-profit organization, was founded in 2003 by a group of women committed to helping Bergen County pregnant teens, teen moms and their babies. Almost from the moment we defined our mission, we envisioned a small business that would provide sustainable funding for our programs, and employment opportunities for the girls. The Cafe is unique in that it is a place where business and mission overlap. The young women will receive more than just a paycheck. With our help, and training by our pastry chefs, they will have the opportunity to have a successful work experience.

We were fortunate to receive a generous grant from Women United in Philanthropy. With this grant, and the help of many dedicated supporters and volunteers, we opened the doors of Zoe's Cupcake Cafe in May, 2009 in Teaneck, New Jersey.
