The November cupcake flavor of the month at mini cupcake company Baked by Melissa is coffee caramel. These cupcakes are $1 each (cheaper the more you buy) and are delicious. I was so busy last month I didn't get to review pumpkin spice, but I like these better, so that's okay.
I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do like coffee-flavored sweets, like coffee ice cream, and this cupcake is the perfect morning pick-me-up. I bought one for my friend Jen, a dedicated coffee drinker, and she said it was very strong, and is her favorite of all the Baked by Melissa flavors. I like that it was sweet, but not overpoweringly so, and does give you a little jolt, plus has an interesting texture. So far I've been very impressed with all their cupcake flavors of the month.
