What a fun vacation this sounds like: Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pennsylvania has a cupcake menu!
I've been to Hershey, but a long time ago, way before this blog was in existence, but this sounds fabulous:
Sweets Cupcakes
The Pastry Team at The Hotel Hershey, led by Executive Pastry Chef Cher Harris, presents an array of mouth-watering nostalgic cupcakes with a variety of creamy frostings. Sweets uses the finest ingredients possible including Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, locally-procured fruits and dairy products, and, of course, our famous Hershey’s chocolates.
“The Hotel Hershey has always held a high standard of quality within the pastry and culinary realms,” Chef Harris says. Her goal is to enhance the flavors and textures of each dessert the pastry shop produces under her direction. “Guests are no longer wowed by items that are structural and impressive-looking,” she says. “I feel they’re looking for clean yet complex combinations that make sense. Overall, I want to deliver high quality sweets to our guests, while challenging the new trends in pastry.”
Also choose from a large selection of candies, novelty Hershey’s chocolates, and chocolate-themed gifts.
Cupcake Selection
Cupcakes are available in three sizes: taste, classic, and signature. Guests can decorate their own cupcake with a variety of toppings or select from a dozen daily flavors.

Long Beach, CA, November 2, 2010: Arch Marketing, a California Corporation, agreed to acquire Charmed Cupcakes on October 24, 2010, one of the first cupcakeries in Long Beach to introduce gourmet cupcakes. This was a strategic move for Arch Marketing’s portfolio in the small business category. Discussions started last year when Charmed Cupcakes proved to have amazing one-of-kind cupcake recipes and received offers for their recipes from four fortune 500 companies.
Arch Marketing will not disclose the purchase price, but the company expects to profit greatly due to discussions taking place with a large cupcake chain already in several states. “The most valuable asset of Charmed Cupcakes was the recipes the owner perfected for over two years”, stated Stephanie Vail, Marketing Director. She also mentioned, “There isn’t another cupcakery that has manufactured their cupcakes from scratch and developed its own recipes.”
When asked about the reviews of Charmed Cupcakes and the plans for the location Stephanie says, “There is a new trend in the bakery market. Cupcakes have been dominated by the larger chains such as Sprinkles and Magnolias, which are growing very quickly. Charmed Cupcakes will drop Cupcakes from its name and become: Charmed, creator of “Couture Cakes” & Novelty Items. The change will start taking place this week. Charmed will create baked goods that infuse fashion, art, style, beauty and trend with great baking. The owner of Charmed Cupcakes was an absentee owner, the staff took advantage of a situation that offered little supervision. The new Charmed, now has an entire new creative team to offer award winning customer service in a business trend that is sure to flourish.”
