From Detroit Free Press:
Faygo-flavored cupcakes debut Thursday in Hiller’s and Busch’s markets, marking the first time the 103-year-old Detroit beverage company has extended its brand to other kinds of products.
To help introduce the treats, the Busch’s stores in Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield will offer their first 50 customers — starting at 9 a.m. Thursday — a six-pack of Faygo Redpop and a half-dozen of the cupcakes.
The cupcakes — in orange, grape and Redpop flavors — are made with real Faygo syrups and are baked by the Just Baked cupcake company. The co-branded products will retail for $6.99 per six-pack.
