This week on JavaCupcake.com, I've been featuring Snickerdoodles and wanted to share with the Cupcakes Take the Cake readers how I transformed this delicious cookie into a cupcake treat!
Using Bakerella's recipe for Snickerdoodle cupcakes, I added a little twist to these yummie cupcakes by dusting cinnamon and sugar on top of the batter before baking to create a crust on top, just like the snickerdoodle cookie. I topped the cupcake with a cinnamon buttercream and a snickerdoodle cookie.
The recipe made 12 full size cupcakes and a few extra mini's. So with the mini's I topped them with the cinnamon buttercream and dusted them with cinnamon. They'd be yummy too with mini snickerdoodles on top too!
