Not sure how I feel about lavender as a cupcake flavor (sadly, I had a bad herbes de Provence experience once) but there's no denying how beautiful this looks:

I will tell from tasting experience this is by far the BEST cupcake I have ever tasted. When you bite into the first taste is the moist vanilla bean cupcake. Once you hit the middle it is filled with a filling that has a hint of lavender. It is refreshing. The icing on the top drizzled with honey just adds the flavors of the lavender and vanilla bean. I must say this was one of the best food experiences in my life. They are amazing and a must try for anyone within driving distance of Dixie Belle Cupcake Cafe!
