Here are some Sandy relief efforts that we have heard about so far:
National
Baking For Good is an organizational that already does charity baking. For #Sandy, ans additional $5 from every box of cupcakes sold will be donated to relief efforts, in addition to our standard 15% donation. Please choose Disaster Relief as your cause at checkout.
For all orders placed through November 15th, Texas Sweet Factory, a mail order company, will donate 40% of the proceeds to relief for Hurricane Sandy. Let's come together for our fellow Americans and try and help those in need.
New Jersey
Mr. Cupcakes with locations in Clifton, Hackensack and Oradell NJ and is selling Restore The Shore Cupcakes. Cupcakes are $2 and 50% of sales will be donated directly to American Red Cross' Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort.
New York
Jet Blue is sponsoring some NY food trucks including Cupcake Crew to provide both food and emergency supplies to Sandy-stricken areas including Red Hook. Follow them on Twitter.
Paris
Cat Beurnier of Sugar Daze Cupcakes in Paris, France is donating 100% of proceeds from sale of her Empire State Of Mind (apple walnut) cupcakes every Thursday through Saturday in November to the New York Red Cross.
