Here's an update on Rachel's earlier post about Brooklyn's own Cake Man Raven: it turns out that he DOES make cupcakes. From the very end of the NY Times article:
One of his most industrious employees is a 17-year-old named Joelle Shallow, an aspiring football player whom Mr. Dennis has put in charge of overseeing all cupcake production. He comes in at 4 a.m. Mr. Dennis has renamed him Cupcake Boy.
