Cupcakes are red-hot commodities and fashionable all over again --- even in fine restaurants and elegant catered events like weddings. Still, most of us have nostalgic memories of cupcakes as the most simple and satisfying individual treats for their fluffy texture and creamy frosting. Learn to turn your favorite cake flavors into cupcakes, plain and fancy. You will participate in the making and decorating of Vanilla-Blueberry, Light Lemon, Orange, Chocolate Fudge, and Chocolate Espresso variations. Your finished cupcakes will be mixed and matched with a kaleidoscope of creams, glazes and frostings, such as Chocolate Frosting, Orange Cream, Coconut Cream, Espresso Ganache, Maple Whip, and Lemon Cream. During class, a clever cupcake-covered centerpiece will be constructed. You'll leave class with your own box of cupcakes, a wealth of ideas, and you'll never miss the dairy!
