How often do you eat cupcakes?
Goodness! Way too often, usually about 3 times a week.
What's the best thing about eating cupcakes?
The icing and the cake part are perfectly matched in both sweetness and texture. I always say its your own little cake, in a cup. It makes everyone feel special to have their own little cake, and its an easy way to celebrate the everyday.
What's your favorite type of cupcake?
Vanilla for the cake part with hot pink icing. Yum!
How do cupcakes compare/contrast to other baked goods for you?
Cupcakes are much better than other baked goods because it usually just takes one to satiate me. They also seem so festive and are guaranteed to lift my mood.
Is there any innovation you'd like to see made to the cupcake that would improve it for you?
Hiding diamond rings in the middle of them.
Do you bake your own cupcakes? Or (even better)have someone who bakes them for you?
I bake my own, and I get a real kick out of finding unique baking wrappers for them. When I was studying for the bar exam I made my husband provide me with a steady supply of cupcake yummy goodness--but that's as close as I get to having someone bake them for me.
What's your first cupcake-related memory?
My mom used to always bring cupcakes to my elementary school classroom every year for my birthday. It was so sweet, no pun intended.
What's the most fun you've ever had with a cupcake?
Using the cupcake wrapper from a cupcake I ate to teach my two dogs to "speak." When they "spoke" when commanded I let them both lick the wrapper for a reward.
