I really like this blog! OK, everyone, on Tuesday morning, June 13th, two of us from Omaha, NE arrived in NYC for the express purpose of cupcake touring (I like the name "cupcake crawl" better!) It was a fabulous "less than 24 hours trip", and we had to get up at 4AM both mornings for the round trip , but it was sooooooo worth it!

Our plane mates could hardly believe the purpose of our trip, but it was also a business trip, since we are for sure opening a cupcake shop in Omaha this summer, "Cupcake Island". We were able to visit 5 cupcake shops. Our favorite experience was definitely Burgers and Cupcakes for so many reasons---upper most was the fact that it was a surprise find, and the menu person outside was very friendly, plus, there was an open table, so we ate lunch there.

Yes, if you were there on Tuesday, June 13, around 1PM, you saw 2 women, one in her 20's and the other in her 50's, enjoying the whole atmosphere, and looking sort of like tourists, having taken one photo. Great fun!
