Daily Candy loves cupcakes

Today's Daily Candy sings the praises of the Cupcake Courier, and also links to its other cupcake coverage.

A new one to us? Eve, in London, which, according to Daily Candy, offers:

Created by three sisters of mercy, Genevieve Hamilton-Brown, Hannah Lorien-King and Mary-Ellen, these cakes are a tribute to temptation. The fruits of their labour come freshly made in chocolate or vanilla, covered in everything from mini ballerinas and love hearts to jewels, eggs and flowers.

Fun for birthdays, weddings, tea parties, Valentine’s Day or weary Fridays in the office, they can be ordered a day ahead (just place your order before 1 p.m.) and delivered to any address in Central London. Bespoke cake and box designs can also be made upon request; the decision is yours.

The URL seems to be down, or else I'd link to it.

Delivery and mail order are one of the most frequently asked questions around here. We found out first-hand from Cupcake Beach that well-sealed cupcakes (frosting separate) can be shipped overnight via UPS, but have yet to really see any bakery master the business of sending cupcakes. Whoever does will likely score major business. We do know of cupcake delivery services like Ivy Bakery in New York, and Sweet Debbie's Organic Cupcakes in LA delivery to anywhere in Los Angeles County, while some bakeries like sugar Sweet sunshine offer limited delivery. If you've mailed cupcakes (or gotten them sent to you), let us know how you did it!
