A poster on our Flickr message boards let us know that the newest Betsey Johnson store served cupcakes at their opening, prompting me to look her up. Apparently, her fall show was called "Babycakes" and featured, you guessed it...
The glossy black runway was lined, as always, with café tables, this time topped with pale pink moire tablecloths upon which sat trays of pale pink iced cupcakes, and the backdrop featured what looked like a pale pink padded crib headboard. Too cute.
Update: We just found out from Jason Bauer that the cupcakes at Betsey Johnson's opening were from Crumbs. Cupcakes are always in fashion!
