on thursday, april 19, 300 of our red velvets made their way to new york city (some of which drew the long straws and flew first class!) on delta airlines' maiden non-stop flight from the portland international airport. each passenger was given a saint cupcake gift box with a supercute cupcake to remember portland by. we were thrilled that delta asked us to create their logo on some cupcakes to celebrate the monumental event; saint cupcake loves a party. it was reported that once the plane landed, a group of unruly red velvets hailed a cab and headed out to see the sights. this morning, we saw some hungover cupcakes heckling al roker on the today show. cupcakes can be so embarassing. but look how cute they were before they left for the big apple! we hope that the cupcakes that stayed with their passengers behaved themselves...thanks, delta, for the great opportunity and the support!
