Watch Nichelle on The Food Network This Weekend

Hey cupcake lovers! I am pleased to announce that I will be on the Food Network special "Heavyweights" this Saturday . This special will be about Hostess snack cakes, Little Debbie's and Drakes. It will air at 9PM and again at midnight on Sunday.

I grew up in the South, and I love Little Debbies, but the Drake's Yodels won me over when I moved to New York. For the taping, I had a Hostess Snowball for the first time ever. The pink ball of coconut, chocolate and cream is definitely an acquired taste.

Which brand do YOU like best?

Congratulations! I love that show! I can't get enough of food products. Can't wait to see you...and by the way, you've been missing a lot by never having eaten a snowball! YUMMY...but I do prefer homemade now.

I prefer Little Debbie's Swiss Cake Rolls over Yodels any day! But I've occasionally seen a Yodels with caramel which is pretty special. (I don't look for it too often...trying to at least set a good example for my kids...) Have you tried Swiss Cake Rolls frozen?

Very exciting! Anyone out there have a special way of eating Little Debbie Swiss Rolls? I don't eat them anymore, but I use to love to peel off the icing and eat the cake with just the filling. OH, and freeze them before eating was good too...Sadly, the older I get the less my tummy likes pre-made sweets! It's homemade/baked from scratch only now!

Me? I like myself a good frozen dingdong or a very fresh Hostess cupcake, gotta eat that little white swirl first.

I just saw you on TV! You were great! I grew up in NYC and my favorite is Drake's Devil Dogs. I could eat a whole box in one sitting. Unfortunately, they are not very easy to find in Florida.

been a while since We see each other. Congratulations. I am sorry for missing several meetups. Been busy over here in CT. But maybe in October or Nov. Anyway, I have set up a blog (fotopage) about my cupcakes products. Some of you already taste them . If you can spread them out there. have to be a large order for NY ordeer. At least 50 or more. Otherwise in CT within the radius of 25 miles the order have to be a dozen or more.
