Oh, now this could get very dangerous - the shop they're opening is on the same street as my workplace, and they deliver if we're too busy to leave the ward to pick up! Can't wait to try them out and compare with Carousels.

The Cupcake Parlour is a very pretty shop. While the cupcake look spectacular, I am not that fussed by the actual cake underneath the yummy decoration. It is a bit rubbery and doesn't seem like it is made from scratch. I get that they may be made fresh everyday but are they baked from scratch? Still, a yummy treat and the toppings are tasty and creative.
I tried the cupcakes from The Cupcake Parlour in Broadbeach (Gold Coast). Like the previous comment stated they don't taste like they are made from scratch, more like a cake mix? With a sugary icing on top and candy decoration. I also noticed that other people had left half eaten cupcakes on the table. In saying that it is a wonderful set up and the cupcakes standout, they look so funky! I wouldn't buy cupcakes from there again.
