Flickr user Freakgirl (also a blogger) has been featured on this site before, but I just rediscovered her via Candy Blog, which is a must-read for anyone into candy (which I imagine many of you are), which I happened to stumble upon via MySpace News. (Don't you just love the internet?)
Anyway, here are some mouth-watering cupcakes of hers; please do check out the rest in this Flickr set
Her s'mores cupcake, inspired by this one by Flickr user Glorious Treats
S'mores cupcake -- chocolate cake, marshmallow buttercream, dipped in crushed graham crackers, topped with a hershey chunk.
A cupcake cake made with chocolate cakes, strawberry pink frosting, and a chocoalte flower on top:
Apple cupcakes, cream cheese frosting, and drizzled caramel on top. Joy.
Drunken Irish cupcakes: Guinness chocolate cupcakes with a Bailey's cream cheese frosting
Jelly donut cupcakes
Jelly donut cupcakes from Veganomicon. These are heavenly and really do taste more like donut than cupcake. My jelly sank to the bottom, but I think that was my fault for using preserves rather than the actual jelly that the recipe called for.
And the cupcake that we found on Candy Blog, the Elvis-inspired Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cupcake.
Elvis-inspired chocolate cupcakes, with peanut butter and banana buttercream frosting, topped with a mini Elvis Reese's peanut butter cup. I also baked a cup into the bottom of the cake.
