I don't speak a word of Swedish, and actually had to click on this blogger's profile to see where she was from and what language she was posting in, but wow! Cupcakes are an international language of their own, I think. Yes, joking slightly, but in another way, I think our love of cupcakes connects people from all over. What do you think? We'd love to hear from our readers outside the United States about the cupcake scene in your area.

I'm an American currently living and working in Denmark and an avid reader of your blog. I absolutely love it! It's one of my absolute favorites and I often joke that it's my daily, life-sustaining 'cupcake porn.' :)
I'm so glad to see that cupcakes have caught on with our neighbors in Sweden. None of the Danes seem to really know what they are! I guess we're too busy with our pastries to bother with cupcakes! :)
Keep up the great work! I look forward to the pretty pictures and mouthwatering descriptions every day! It's the next best thing to, you know, actually eating cupcakes!
love and cupcakes,
Sarah
I can recommend another Swedish blog; http://holysweet.blogspot.com/ Pictures are an international language. =)
Here in Finland cupcakes aren't that well known. People aren't too familiar with cupcakes. Cupcakes are/would be referred to as "muffins". My friends say "muffin cupcake, cupcake muffin...whats the difference!"...There's a big difference:)
Hopefully the "cupcake culture" will spread to Finland and we'll get out very own cupcake bakeshop in Helsinki.
